The Harley Benton DB02 is an electric double bass that combines two different worlds in one instrument: Firstly, it conveys a playing feel that is very close to that of an acoustic double bass, and secondly, it is very space-saving, robust, and easy to transport thanks to its compact dimensions. Less volume, more features
The Harley Benton DB02 has a paulownia body, maple neck, and birch fingerboard. The scale (length of the vibrating string) is 105cm long and thus corresponds to a full-grown 3/4 double bass. The headstock of the DB02 is a traditional scroll, to which the machine heads are attached. The height (or size) of the DB02 can be individually adjusted to suit the player by means of the extendable spike, and with the practical belly support the Harley Benton DB02 leans comfortably against the body, similar to a real double bass. If you want to play more loudly, the DB02 offers a pickup with active electronics. Other features include a headphone jack and an AUX input for external sources such as mobile phones.

The better alternative
