Good for first pair of in-ear monitors
Anonymous 18.12.2015
These in-ear monitors are good enough in comparison to others in the same price bracket. However I found them to be quite high maintenance. The buds are very difficult to get of to clean and if you get even a small amount of ear wax in the small holes you lose all volume! I thought that one of the ear pieces had a fault for a while as I was only getting sound in my right ear (this happened mid set btw) I was playing around with my mixing desk wondering why I wasn't getting any sound from left ear. The next day I had a look and decided to give the buds a clean. TADAA! sound in both ears returns. That being said, if I make sure I clean my ears out before using them this is not a problem. The other thing is that I have quite small ear holes (kennels or whatever they are called) so the standard sized bud are actually quite painful to wear. I changed for the smaller ones which are a slight improvement but do have a tendency of falling out.

Amazing quality for the price
bertel3 20.05.2014
I have only used these for a couple of hours so far, but the sound quality seems amazing considering these only cost about €40-50. (On a blind test, maybe I would say these cost €100-150.) Overall, the sound seems quite "balanced" - in the sense, that there's nothing initially annoying about it. Bass is strong and clear, while higher frequencies deliver much detail.

The wire length is about 120cm, which is quite appropriate for my use.

Good solid solution
Andrew O. 10.07.2023
I'd been looking for a reasonably priced but good quality set of IEMs as an introduction to IEMs so I figured these fit the requirements. I tried them for the first time lastnight at a small show (~300 people) in a smallish room with a 6 piece band. My intention was to give them a try during soundcheck and switch back over to my usual floor monitor, they sounded so well in soundcheck that I used them for the whole show.

Isolation wasn't 100% but I don't think I'd have liked it to have been either so I could still get a feel for the stage. My stage position (keys) is beside the bass cabs so that still came through as well. When I say that the isolation wasn't 100% it was still fairly good at filtering out a LOT of the ambient noise, when I popped them out at the end of the show for the walk off the crowd noise caught me by surprise!

In conclusion, these IEMs are perfect to give it a try, they're not the expensive custom fit, multi-driver, fancy model so you shouldn't expect them to be but I'd definitely recommend them. Given the positive experience, I intend to keep using these and won't be looking to upgrade any time soon.

Good Earphones
mcoimbra 10.05.2018
I used my in ear earphones on rehearsals and on gig's they lasted around 5 years, they are very comfortable, and can isolate you from the outside world, the only con I've found was the sound quality that is reasonable, i think they lack a lot of bass so they're not good for bassists, however if you are a guitarrist you'll have good sound quality.

In sumary good earphone, lack bass driver but very comfortable!

P
Surprisingly comfortable.
Puntherline 13.02.2024
Pros: Hitting the cable on accident doesn't make you go deaf like on some other in-ears. The cable over the ear is surprisingly comfortable, maybe since I'm used to wearing glasses though. They sound good and don't make a flimsy impression. The cable is long enough for most cases. It comes with the medium ear-tips preinstalled and they fit my somewhat larger ear.

Cons: Putting them in creates a high pressure in your ear, and when letting go, it changes to a low pressure. I know, most in-ear headphones do this, but these are the most noticeable out of the ones I owned. You don't want low pressure in your ear, it changes the sound and gets irritating after a while or when swallowing/yawning. Pulling them out, since they're conveniently flush with my ear, is a hassle, but that's getting into nitpick territory.

I'll update my review if they break or something happens. If it's still up in like 10 years, assume they still work.

If you want proper In-ear don't buy this product

Pretty good sounding earphones, but not to be considered In-ear monitors.
Very good isolation from the environment and very good, balanced sound for the price.

excelent Sound for the money
Alexandre 27 27.11.2018
These are the best in-ear at this price point. I did not tried SE-315 or SE-515, but for the reviews I've read these are close to the SE-315, even better for some purposes. I've tried other more expensive in-ear sets, which can be better but at a much more price tag. I will buy these again if there are no new better options for the price.

Lack of bass

These are okay but lack bass. Not the best choice for IEM´s. But cheap. Problably better for listening to music...

Subpar for the price
JasperB 26.07.2021
Lows on these are OK and sound natural. (high) mids have a somewhat harsh edge to them. They sound quite dark due to severe lack of treble extension. Mids sound congested.

Usually, reduced treble would be described as the headphones having a 'warmer' sound. However due to how the mids sound, I wouldn't describe these as warm sounding, but a bit 'shouty' by lack of a better word.

Isolation is good if you use the correct ear tips. Cable seems to be well-made. They are very easy to drive.

This all of course is subjective, and I might be spoiled by other earphones. But I wouldn't recommend these for casual listening. They are well made but just don't sound pleasant.
