Brilliant 10/10

I bought this guitar without ever seeing one, I only saw them on YouTube. This guitar is well worth the money, I have played Martins and Taylors worth over 2.5k which were not as good as this guitar. The sound is very balanced, not too much bass and not too much treble.

The pickup system is the best I have ever heard in an acoustic instrument, I did use a L.R. Baggs M1A on my previous guitar but the Yamaha Atmosfeel system is way, way better.

If your thinking about this guitar, its definitely worth it, I haven't played an FGX3 (Chinese model), but I think that the FGX5 is definitely worth the extra money to get that quality Japanese craftsmanship.

Overall, an extremely high quality and beautiful warm sounding guitar which I will never sell and it makes playing the acoustic guitar real treasure indeed with the lovely warm sounding mahogany back and sides.

10/10 definitely recommend.

Up there with the best.

As the owner of many top brands I bought this FGX5 as a great reliable workhorse and it hasn’t disappointed. Great tone and playability with an easy to master pickup system. Great Japanese build quality and comes in a super hard case but because it is so playable it spends little time locked away.
A truly great instrument.

Echte Dreadnought!
Einziges Problem , man bekommt die Gitarre schwer her. Lange Wartezeiten!
