The small portable PA
The Fun Generation Stagemix 400 is a compact, all-in-one PA system, specifically designed for smaller venues and stages. It packs an impressive number of features, including a total of eight inputs (two stereo channels and four single channels with mic preamps), powerful woofers, and clear highs. Users can also play their favourite MP3s via USB stick or SD card. A microphone is included for good measure, as are all the necessary cables (which can be neatly stowed away in the back of one of the speakers). And as if that wasn’t enough, the Stagemix 400 also features dedicated EQ and FX, as well as a complete monitoring section, to set the ambience just right.

Extensive connections and Bluetooth capability
The Fun Generation Stagemix 400 comprises a pair of 120W passive speakers (each fitted with a 10" woofer and a 1" tweeter) which are powered by the mixer. 6m long speaker cables are included, which is sufficient for most applications in smaller settings. The mixing desk is fitted with a handy MP3 and WAV player, which can play back digital tracks from USB sticks and SD cards, and it also has a Bluetooth interface. The four mono input channels feature mic/line inputs with XLR and 6.35mm jacks, bass and treble EQ, and onboard FX. The two stereo inputs in turn employ 6.35mm jack/phono sockets (channel 5/6) and a 3.5mm mini-jack socket (channel 7/8). So, just plug in the mic, power up the mixer – and that’s all there is to it.

Small performance, big impact
Setting up the Fun Generation Stagemix 400 is child’s play, even for complete novices. With a maximum sound pressure level of 96dB [SPL], covering a full frequency range from 20Hz to 18kHz, the Stagemix 400 will provide plenty of power and sound coverage for smaller venues or theatres. The speakers’ integrated mounting flanges (complete with locking screws) mean they can be secured to stands (available separately), ensuring their stability throughout long evening parties. The MP3 player makes it simple for anyone to play their favourite music, such as the event host, the wedding-planner, or anybody else who might have a request. Of course, artists, musicians, and speakers can simply plug in to the system (in fact a microphone is already provided to this end) and the four mono and two stereo inputs can go quite a long way – putting small gigs within reach, for example.

Ready to go in next to no time
The Fun Generation Stagemix 400 is ideal for small gig setups, theatre stages, and similar scenarios. The system is easily transportable, consisting only of the main mixer and two speakers and weighing a manageable 22kg. Setting it up is relatively straightforward – the user only has to position the speakers at the sides of the stage (optional stands are available as mentioned above), then plug in the 6m speaker cables and microphone – leaving three mono tracks with effects and EQ free to plug in keyboards and other instruments, for example, as well as two stereo tracks for yet more inputs. Stereo outputs in both RCA and 6.35mm jack formats are also provided in order to allow events to be easily recorded or streamed. The main volume is controlled by a central rotary knob, and a dedicated headphone section with a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack output and a monitoring section allow the user to keep levels under control at all times.
